Cheryl Erickson is a self-taught artist who developed the Crystal Imagery process back in 1978. Crystal Imagery is done by crushing stained glass to approximately 1 mm in size, then placing each shard one-by-one with tweezers to create pictures. The irregular shapes of the glass reflect the light which produces a sparkling affect.

Cheryl also dabbles in fabric art, drawing and painting; and will continue to explore her creative talents through stained glass mosaics.

She is drawn towards animals and nature because of the freedom and raw beauty they represent.
